BCTDA Quarterly Highlights

The Buncombe County Tourism Development Authority is charting a new course for tourism aligned with broader community priorities. This includes the adoption of strategic imperatives that are informing and guiding the direction of Explore Asheville’s program of work and community investments going forward.

In FY24, the Buncombe County Tourism Development Authority shifted from providing a brief recap of all projects and our progress toward strategic imperatives each month to reporting more comprehensive updates of major initiatives each quarter. Quarterly Highlights will be presented during the board meetings in October, January, April, and July.
