Time Remembered

This grass-surrounded marker reveals that there’s a time capsule buried underneath with the proviso that even if the contents are fascinating, you’ll have to wait until 2047 to know for sure. Placed during Asheville's bicentennial in 1997-98, the capsule allegedly contains, among other things, writings of Charles A. Webb, publisher of "The Times" and "The Citizen."
